Application areas:

High temperature and risk of intergranular corrosion: such as thermal power plants, refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical plants, etc.

Pressure vessel flanges: Containers that require frequent heat treatment or are used to hold high-temperature corrosive media

Plates and shell flanges involving cooling media that may cause sensitization of the heat-affected zone of welding.

Connection flanges for high-temperature valves and pumps.

Used in specific parts of aircraft engines.

Reduced Sensitization: Why S32168 Stainless Steel Flange outperforms 304/304L in weld zones and high temperature conditions, as titanium stabilization prevents harmful chromium carbide precipitation at grain boundaries even after high temperature exposure to 650°C.

Corrosion Resistance: Excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance index ≈ 20. <0.1 mm/year @ 65°C, 20-50% resistance to nitric acid, acetic acid, phosphoric acid and many organic compounds.

Low Temperature Toughness: Suitable for use in LNG auxiliary pipelines or cold working processes. Excellent impact resistance at temperatures as low as -196°C (-320°F).

Strong Performance: Minimum Yield Strength: 205 MPa (30 ksi), Minimum Elongation: 40% (per ASTM A182). Minimum Tensile Strength: 515 MPa (75 ksi).

Precision manufactured: Meets a variety of global standards. Available in all pressure ratings and surface treatments from 150# to 2500#.
